We are Fairdin Ceilidh / Function Band. Based in the North East of Scotland in the heart of Aberdeenshire, we are a high energy, 3 piece ceilidh band, providing first class entertainment for weddings, corporate events, graduation balls and much more. We pride ourselves in packing the dancefloor, every time. Whether your guests are seasoned ceilidh dancers, or complete beginners, we know how to bring everyone together and ensure your night is one to remember.
Our line up is Fiddle, Keyboard and Drums, providing a full and balanced sound that blends a traditional feel with a footstompin’ beat! We have played in ceilidh / function bands all of our lives. We know what works and what doesn’t work, and we enjoy working closely with our clients to craft the perfect night for every occasion. We don’t expect you to ceilidh dance after dance. We like to break up the dances by interspersing a few songs – folks songs, a few covers, some old classics etc.
No two events are ever the same. No event is too big or too small. We perform for small and intimate celebrations, for large scale events, and for everything in between.
We also offer a ceilidh disco package. Our standard set is 3 hours of ceilidh and folk songs. But we can follow this up with an hour of disco tunes to keep your party dancing to all manner of floorfillers! You can leave it up to us to give you hits old and new or we can mix in your preferred genre / playlist.
